共有三屆世界盃決賽由意大利足協的裁判執法，只有英國裁判獲得更多榮譽（四次）。 1978 年阿根廷和荷蘭之間的決賽由塞爾吉奧·戈內拉(Sergio Gonella) 領銜，兩年前他已經執法了歐洲錦標賽決賽。其他裁判分別是 2002 年的皮耶路易吉·科利納和 2014 年的尼古拉·里佐利。
